The author of this book was thoughtful and very articulate in researching many lines of Cartwrights who migrated south from Maryland mostly through Virginia, N.C., and Tennessee. Then the westward movement into Mississippi and Kentucky. Sources are quoted and in-depth explanations for frequently complicated and elusive connections. She wrote a good deal about the Pasquotank North Carolina Cartwrights. I have found this to be an excellent reference book. I return to it frequently just to refresh my genealogy memory. Well worth the money.
A great source of information on my Cartwright ancestors. Mrs Kwasha has done an excellent job of research and compilation and it has been most helpful in my research.
